SA apple growers will return for their first in-orchard Future Orchards® walk since late 2019, with a tour of the Nicol’s Orchard on Thursday 18 March.

Local Future Orchards FLA Paul James said the Nicol’s Orchards will provide local growers with a unique opportunity to visit an orchard that is growing four different managed varieties – and all production is taking place under netting.

“We are looking forward to hearing from Michael, Damon and Duncan Nicol about their experiences as members of four different ‘clubs’. It’s a unique opportunity to draw on their experience to build our understanding of managed varieties,” said Paul.

The four managed varieties include JAZZ™/envy™, Bravo™, Kanzi® and MiApple®.

To ensure compliance with local coronavirus restrictions please ensure you register prior to the event.
