Future Orchards International Tour – Italy
APAL is pleased to announce that the next Future Orchards® international grower tour will be held in Italy from 23–27 November 2026 where participants will visit Italian growing regions as well as attend the Interpoma trade show Interpoma Fiera Bolzano.
The week-long tour will also include optional add-on tours to view special interest topics in smaller groups in neighbouring regions. Whilst it is a busy time of year on the farm, it is hoped that the flexible schedule will enable growers to maximise their time investment during this period.
Over the week-long tour participants will see:
- A range of apple planting systems, rootstock trials and varieties
- Emerging mechanisation and automation options in the field
- A range of orchard spraying, mowing and other implements
- New technologies and systems for adoption on-farm
Anticipated costs are expected to be <$6500 per person inclusive of (economy) flights depending on itinerary chosen.
Participants will be asked to secure their own flights to align with intended itinerary with group meals and tours organised by APAL as part of a shared cost arrangement with growers.
To express your interest in attending this tour, please send an email with your name, phone number and email with the subject “EOI Interpoma 2026” to: [email protected]
More details to come.
