Pears in the Pub
As part of next week’s Technical Symposium, APAL will be hosting ‘Pears in the Pub’ from 5:30pm on Thursday 10 August at The Aussie in Shepparton.
Pears in the Pub is an evening dedicated to sharing content specifically catered to pear growers. Are you an Australian pear grower? We’d like to invite you and your team for a pear-specific discussion over free casual drinks and dinner to hear valuable insights and learnings around the latest blush research and best-practice in pear disease management.
At the event, you’ll hear from Lexie McClymont on blush research and Michael Crisera on pear scab management, as well as hear a discussion around resistance management with Associate Professor Femi Akinsanmi, Principal Research Fellow at the University of Queensland’s Centre for Horticulture and Andrew Taylor, Plant Pathologist – Horticulture from DPIRD.
