Dr Ian Goodwin (Research Leader, Ag Vic) and Dr Alessio Scalisi (Senior Technical Officer, Ag Vic) give an update on the PIPS3 AP19003 Advancing sustainable and technology driven apple orchard production systems project at the Tatura SmartFarm.

In this video, they’ll explain how using the Green Atlas Cartographer to map estimates of fruit size and colour in orchard blocks could help growers optimise their labour management strategies for thinning and identify areas where reflective could be laid to improve fruit colour.

Learn how season 2 of the project is taking data-driven orchard decisions to the next level.
