This spreadsheet is a practical calculator for checking orchard spray work rates and application settings. It is designed to support the spray-application principles promoted through Future Orchards®, where travel speed, row width, spray volume and canopy target need to be considered together.

The tool can be used to test how changes in operating settings affect hectares covered per hour and spray volume requirements. That makes it useful when comparing concentrate spraying, different travel speeds or alternative row spacings. The calculator is intended to support calibration and planning, not replace label directions or a physical coverage check in the orchard.

Growers can use the spreadsheet alongside sprayer calibration, nozzle checks and water-sensitive paper to determine whether a change improves work rate without sacrificing target coverage.
