Hort Innovation fund reports for 2020/21 now online

The Hort Innovation Annual Report for the apple and pear industry is now available online. 

The reports demonstrate the work of Hort Innovation over the past financial year, including projects delivered and a breakdown of investment areas as they relate to the 2017-2021 Strategic Investment Plan. 

Dr Anthony Kachenko, General Manager – Stakeholder Experience, said the report contains valuable information for the industry. 

“The Hort Innovation Apple and Pear Fund Annual Report for 2020/21 provides a snapshot of how the apple and pear levy was invested during the year for the benefit of the industry,” Dr Kachenko said. “The report includes information on how spending aligned with the apple and pear industry’s strategic outcomes, current investments, minor use permits and our investment processes.  

“We’ve also developed case studies where you can hear directly from a grower on how a levy-funded investment has impacted them. We encourage you to have a read of the report to see your levy in action.”
