Focus Orchard trial update: Southern Victoria and Tasmania

This December 2018 resource reports on the Southern Victoria and Tasmania Focus Orchards. The update is part of the regular regional reporting stream used to keep growers informed about commercial block progress, trial activity and management observations.

The Focus Orchard model provided continuity between Orchard Walks by maintaining monitored blocks and locally relevant trials over time. Data and observations from participating orchards could then be discussed with growers and advisers and compared with later seasonal updates.

This document provides the end-of-2018 position for the two southern regions and is a useful predecessor to the July 2019 Southern Victoria and Tasmania update retained later in this batch.
