APAL Forum 2021 postponed from JulyNews
As a result of the recent Victorian lockdown, commencing Thursday 15 July, the APAL Forum 2021 was unable to proceed on the proposed dates of 18-20 July.
In addition to postponing this event, APAL has made the decision to postpone the Future Orchards® Orchard Walk planned for Wednesday 21 July.
Forum is postponed – not cancelled
APAL will review options for delivering the Forum program and Future Orchards® walk, including dates that can work with the seasonal demands of our industry.
APAL CEO, Phil Turnbull, said that while this result was disappointing, the Forum and other APAL events would take place at future dates.
“We know how important the Forum is for allowing our industry to reconnect, and the challenges of Covid-19 only make this more important,” Phil said. “This will also provide an opportunity for us to consider creative approaches to future events and extension that mitigate the disruption of Covid-19, and allow us to engage and serve our members and industry in new ways.”
