This regional report summarises Focus Orchard and trial activity in Northern Victoria and Queensland. It reflects the Future Orchards® model of using commercial orchards to investigate locally important management questions and then sharing the observations with growers through extension activities.

The two regions differ in climate, orchard structure and production constraints, so the value of the update is in showing how the same extension framework can be adapted to different local questions. Growers and advisers identify an issue, set up a practical comparison, measure change and review the result in context.

As with other Focus Orchard reports, this document is a progress update rather than a single definitive experiment. Seasonal conditions, orchard history and management interactions all matter when interpreting any response.

The report contributes to the 2015-2018 Focus Orchard series and provides a reference point for trial work that later appeared in final reports and orchard-walk presentations.
