Future Orchards® | Data and insights | document

Instructions for collecting Tree Row Volume, Trunk Cross-sectional Area and repeat photopoint measurements so canopy development and tree growth can be monitored consistently over time.

These supporting tools sit alongside the Future Orchards monitor-block program. Their purpose is to standardise data collection so information from different blocks, regions and seasons can be compared on the same basis. Consistent records also make it easier to connect orchard measurements with production, cost and profitability results.

Growers and advisers can use the template as part of a broader block-monitoring system, retaining completed records with seasonal production, packout and financial information. Because this is an archival resource, users should adapt fields where necessary to match current orchard systems and business reporting requirements.
