Victorian businesses now require COVID Safe PlanNews
The Victorian Government’s ‘Roadmap to Reopening’ was released on Sunday, with a COVIDSafe Plan required by all a key aspect for apple and pear growers in the state.
Under the roadmap, from 11:59pm on Sunday 13 September it will be mandatory for all Victorian businesses state-wide operating onsite to have a COVIDSafe Plan. This is a change from the current requirements for many businesses in regional Victoria, who are currently advised, but not required to have a COVIDSafe Plan. Businesses with fewer than five employees are exempt from this requirement.
See below a template and guidance material for the COVIDSafe Plan, which has been provided by Agriculture Victoria.
For other states, it is best to check your state’s requirements and guidelines:
- New South Wales
- South Australia
- Western Australia
- Australian Capital Territory
- Northern Territory
