Crop Monitoring Photo Competition

Get snapping now!

APAL is excited to introduce its inaugural Crop Monitoring Photo Competition – an exciting opportunity for all crop monitors to showcase their skills in capturing high-quality images of pests at every stage of their lifecycle. The goal? To build an extensive image library that will assist in pest identification and management within our industry.

From January to the end of March 2024, APAL is inviting crop monitors to scout for pests and snap impressive, good quality photos for a chance to win one of 40x $100 gift vouchers. With a focus on diversity, we’re seeking photos covering 40 different combinations across various pest life stages.

The featured pest categories include fruit flies, moths, aphids, thrips, scale, mealybugs, bugs, mites, and other diseases crucial to our industry’s health.
