New Harvest Trail services to help connect industryNews
From 1 July 2020, HLS and the NHLIS will be renamed Harvest Trail Services (HTS) and the Harvest Trail Information Service (HTIS).
The HTS will continue to match suitable job seekers—both working holiday makers and Australian job seekers—with seasonal harvest jobs in locations across Australia. Services will be delivered in up to 16 harvest areas covering all major horticulture regions across the country. The not-for-profit MADEC Australia will deliver the new and enhanced service.
Harvest Labour Services connect workers with employers in harvest areas across Australia. These services work with the Harvest Trail website and jobs board and are available at no cost to help harvest employers meet their workforce needs.
The reformed national Harvest Trail Information Service will allow employers and job seekers to access greater benefits from the service.
APAL reccommends the Harvest Trail website for employers, employees and jobseekers, a service which is more important now than ever before given the current Coronavirus related border closures.
More information about how the Information Services can help employers is available in this brochure.
You can find the updated Harvest Trail website here, which was launched today.
