APAL welcomes Larissa Vaughan to Events role

Larissa Vaughan has joined the Communications team as the new Program Manager, taking over from Richelle Zealley who has moved into a new role within APAL.

Larissa comes from an extensive background in association/membership event management, including senior event and program manager roles with Australian Institute of Company Directors, CPA, and, most recently, the Urban Development Institute of Australia.

“My strong affiliation with membership organisations has given me the skills to hit the ground running in an organisation like APAL,” said Larissa.

“I love working for membership organisations as I get passionate about delivering programs that meet members’ needs.”

APAL will call on Larissa’s 20 years of event strategy and execution experience, as well as team management, content drafting, and financial skills, to ensure the best quality organisation for events such as Future Orchards® walks and the annual Industry Forum at Hort Connections.

If you have an events-related inquiry, email Larissa at lvaughan@apal.org.au or give her a call on 03 9329 3511
