Helen McKenzie

Helen McKenzie, the Code Arbiter for Woolworths, will be presenting at the upcoming 2023 APAL Industry Forum, discussing her role in dealing with complaints from suppliers regarding Woolworths’ compliance with the Food and Grocery Code of Conduct.

Helen is an accomplished employment lawyer and business leader, with a wealth of experience in governance, strategy development, and cultural change. Her leadership roles at major law firm Ashurst (and its Australian predecessor, Blake Dawson) included Board Member, Practice Head, and Deputy Managing Partner.

In February 2022, Helen was appointed as the President of Anti-Discrimination NSW, where she has continued to demonstrate her commitment to social justice and equality. As a subject matter expert on workplace relations, employment, and discrimination law, Helen is a trusted adviser to large public and private sector businesses.

We are honoured to have Helen as a speaker at the 2023 APAL Industry Forum, and we look forward to her insights on managing complaints and ensuring compliance in the food and grocery industry.
