Growers are urged to give feedback on HAL
as part of an independent review.

Horticulture Australia Limited (HAL) has commissioned ACIL Allen Consulting to conduct an independent review of HAL’s operations and model and the horticulture levy system.

The independent HAL review will provide recommendations on the future service delivery model for HAL and the horticulture levy system. For more information download the Terms of Reference.

ACIL Allen has released a consultation paper which outlines options for the future and questions that the review team want answered. ACIL Allen will seek feedback at stakeholder forums to be held around Australia (timetable below).

APAL Industry Services Manager Annie Farrow encourages growers to attend a session to provide direct levy payer feedback. APAL is preparing a submission. Submissions are due on 28 February 2014 and can be submitted via email to halreviewteam@acilallen.com.au.
