Bushfire grants now accessible to NSW and South Australian GrowersNews
Those impacted by last summer’s devastating bushfires can now apply to the $31 million grants program to help aid their recovery.
Grants of up to $120,000 per hectare are available to eligible growers. They can be used to:
- replace stock (apple trees of any variety), damaged irrigation infrastructure, poles, trellises, and netting
- clean-up damaged infrastructure or undertake site preparation not funded through other programs.
The grants are on a dollar for dollar basis, meaning growers must match the value dollar-for-dollar with a private financial co-contribution.
