Tree procurement service
- APFIP has developed a nursery tree procurement service (TPS) to provide an information pathway between growers and nurseries. The service is aimed at improving the working relationship between growers and nurseries – allowing growers to better understand the issues nurseries face in the production of nursery trees.
The service details what’s required when placing an order with a nursery and will allow nurseries to better understand the grower’s production situation and their needs when purchasing nursery trees.
A nursery tree specification guide has also been created to assist growers when talking to their nurseries – this should only be used as a guide when negotiating final delivery tree specs.
